VTCO Central Branch Participates in Upgrading Hung Vuong Street, Tam Ky City

On October 14, 2022, at the 11th session, the People’s Council of Quang Nam province (term X) agreed to adjust the investment policy of the project of upgrading and expanding Hung Vuong Street, Tam Ky City.

The project to complete this urban center road will have a total length of 5.56km with a total investment of 450 billion VND, from the provincial budget, and will be implemented within 3 years (2022 – 2025). Investment capital will be based on revenue exceeding revenue, increasing revenue and saving expenditure in 2021 and the following years in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Public Investment and the approved schedule.

The road will be widened by one lane on each side (3m wide), by narrowing the median from 13m to 7m and building a complete infrastructure system on the route according to national standards.

All reports recommending adjustment of investment policies, verification by specialized departments, The Economic and Budgetary Committee of the People’s Council believes that it is necessary to invest, upgrade and expand Hung Vuong Street in a synchronous manner. This investment will contribute to solving the problem of flooding in the rainy season on the route, undergrounding electricity, telecommunications, etc., completing the technical infrastructure system, renovating trees, and urban aesthetics suitable for development. city in the future.

The project is invested by Quang Nam Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the consortium of VTCO Investment Company Limited and CTGT 5 Construction Construction Joint Stock Company (Tecco5) carried out the survey items, made the landscape architecture plan, and made the feasibility study report.
